JCDecaux unveils its first digital screen network at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport

(MENAFNEditorial) JCDecaux SA (Euronext Paris: DEC), the number one outdoor advertising company worldwide, has unveiled a new network of HD digital screens at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport, in conjunction with OAMC.

The 103" premium quality screens, with high performance and cutting-edge design which are located in the baggage reclaim areas of both airports, offer a unique proposition for advertisers.

The central positioning of these new HD landscape format screens provides advertisers with optimal visibility thanks to the way in which they have been integrated into the architecture of the buildings. The digital screens are strategically placed along the passenger journey, delivering strong stand-out and cut-through in a highly targeted advertising space.

The new network of screens will also feature JCDecaux's specialized content management system, which allows tailored advertising in the form of targeted or live campaigns. The system can for instance target specific flights from specific countries, change the creative from day to night, or broadcast live content.

The launch of these new screens underlines JCDecaux Oman's ability to deploy the next generation of out of home digital advertising media, in addition to an already wide-ranging platform of traditional advertising, sponsorship and experiential solutions.

Samer Ahmed Al Nabhani, Chief Commercial Officer OAMC said: "We are pleased to see these impressive screens, which are the first of their kind in Oman, going live in Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport. Our partnership with JCDecaux means that this impressive network of screens will place us at the forefront of innovation and creativity, whilst also enhancing the advertising landscape and creating a more enjoyable passenger experience."

David Bourg, CEO Middle East from JCDecaux said: "The installation of this new network of high-definition digital screens at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport marks a significant step forward in enhancing the outdoor advertising landscape in Oman. In addition, this new advertising solution strengthens our digital footprint in the Middle East with now 500 digital screens across the airports in the region. Our track record of enhancing the passenger experience in the world's leading airports, as well as our extensive global and regional client base, will ensure the success of our partnership with OAMC"
