(MENAFN) Vietnam's garment exports reached USD9.38 billion in the January-June period of 2014, up 19.8 percent over a year earlier, Xinhua reported.
The total amount of garment exports accounted for 13.2 percent of the total national export revenue during the cited period.
In June alone, Vietnam made over USD1.89 billion, up 22.4 percent over May, replacing phone and accessories to top Vietnam's export items in terms of revenue.
The US was the largest market of Vietnam's garment, with import revenue of USD4.57 billion, accounting for 48.7 percent of Vietnam's market shares for garment.
