Armenian, Asian countries trade grows strongly


(MENAFN) According to Armenpress, Armenia's trade with Asian countries has grown significantly, Xinhua reported.

In the first six months of 2014, exports from Armenia to Asia totaled USD216 million, an increase of USD50 million over a year ago.

In the second quarter, Asian countries' imports to Armenia stood at USD670 million compared to USD624 million year-on-year.

Meanwhile, Armenia's imports from EU countries in the first half of 2014 reached USD535 million, while its exports to the eurozone amounted USD233 million.
