(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Members of Inter-Parliamentary Union of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) reiterated full support for the Palestinian people's resistance of the Israeli occupation.
In a final communique, cited by the official IRNA news agency, the MPs of the Islamic countries said the resistance against occupation was a "legal right for all people living under occupation." It called on all Muslims to put their differences aside and support the Palestinian cause by all means possible.
The one-day meeting, chaired by the Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani, was attended by speakers of five countries and MPs from three other states.
Kuwait's delegation was represented by MPs Faisal Al-Shayea, Saleh Ashour and Saif Al-Azmi.
