(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Israeli army said Monday one of its officers was seriously injured during clashes with armed Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
Commander of the ground commando unit in the Israeli army, which is actively engaged in the three-day ground offensive on Gaza, has been seriously injured, an army spokesman said in a statement cited by Israeli media.
The Israeli officer, whose name nor rank was disclosed, was "injured in fierce clashes with Palestinian" fighters on the borders of Gaza, said the spokesman.
