China Mobile builds 4G mobile base stations


(MENAFN) China Mobile announced plans to build more than 500,000 4G base stations by the end of 2014, reported by Xinhua.

Vice president of China Mobile said that the 4G international roaming services will be launched in another 50 countries.

The countries which the services will cover include Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States.

Customers can access 4G services through a new 4G USIM card without charging or registering their number.

The carrier plans 50 million new 4G users this year, as it added 5.8 million 4G users in June, bringing its total to 13 million users.
