The 2015nissan Sunny Makes Its Debut In The Middle East


(MENAFNEditorial) Today, Nissan launchedits2015 model Sunnyin theMiddle East. The new sedan will be available from all Nissan dealerships across the region from August 1st.

The 2015 Sunny has a strong global heritage owing to its interior roominess, safety, quality, comfort and fuel efficiency. Nissan has now given its acclaimed sedan a step up in terms of distinctive styling, connectivity (Nissan Connect).

The original Sunny was launched in the Middle East under Datsun brand in 1966 and is part of the Nissan and the Regional Automotive Heritage across its ten generations. Sunny is one of the top selling models in the region. The 2015 Sunny builds on this solid foundation and strengthens Nissan's presence in the increasingly popular B-Sedan segment.

Speaking at the occasion, Samir Cherfan, Managing Director at Nissan Middle East, said: "The Middle East is a key market for Nissan and the Nissan Sunny in particular is one of our top selling models in the region and contributes to around 15% of our total sales. We expect this model to make a notable impact on our growth, doubling its sales volumes by FY16.

While delivering on its recognized class-leading strengths, the latest modelboasts enhanced technology with anew styling takingits cues from Nissan latest design direction".

The 2015 Sunny comes with a bold, refreshedfront, rear and interior design including a bigger front grille and boomerang shaped headlamps, while chrome detailing around the car gives the sedan a classy appearance. It also features upgraded interiors complete with a redesigned center console in piano black finishing, display audio system, and a new premium steering wheel with added functionality.

Sunny comes with a 1.5L petrol engine and includes fourspec variants with prices starting at $ 12,380. Full pricing details are as follows:

2015Sunny Highlights:

The latest model's design stems from the popular tenth generation model but receives comprehensive updates inside and out making it bolder and even more desirable.

The model's sleek and smooth silhouette is further accentuated by a premium front end with bigger and bolder grille,boomerang-shaped headlamps and an all-new bumper. New fog lamps with chrome finishers and generous chrome highlights in the grille surround and front bumper lower lip give the car a brand new identity.

The rear end also gets the premium touch with redesigned, flared bumper, black diffuser cladding, chrome trunk garnish and short antenna at the rear end of the roof. Other styling features include chrome door handles, Outside Rear View Mirror (ORVM) mounted turn signals and stylish 12-spoke Y-pattern alloys.

The changes are not limited to the exteriors but continue on the inside,adding to the functionality and comfort of the class-leading spacious interiors. The 2015Sunny features an enhanced dashboard with piano black finish center console, Bluetooth-enabled audio, an all-new steering wheel with integrated audio and telephone controls and Nissan Connect which provides Facebook and Google connectivity.

The model retains the class-leading safety features. ABS, EBD and Brake Assist are standard across the Sunny rangeas are the driver &passenger airbags.
The latest model also retains its class-leading fuel efficiency and its 1.5-litre petrol engine from the tenth generation model.
