(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Scow July 21 (QNA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said no one should use the July 17 Boeing crash in Ukraine for their own political goals.
The tragic Malaysian MH17 flight crash must not be politicised and the international experts on the scene should be able to carry out their work in complete safety Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"In the meantime nobody should and has no right to use this tragedy to achieve their 'narrowly selfish' political goals' Russia Today (RT) quoted Putin as saying.
"We repeatedly called upon all conflicting sides to stop the bloodshed immediately and sit down at the negotiating table" Putin said adding "I can say with confidence that if military operations were not resumed on June 28 in eastern Ukraine this tragedy wouldn't have happened." Putin also called for the investigation into the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 plane crash in Ukraine to be carried out under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
