Syrian shell injures three people N. Lebanon


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Intense shelling from the Syrian side of the borders reached several eastern Lebanese towns along the Great River on Sunday evening injuring three people.

One of the shells hit a home in Bani Sakhr town in Wadi Khaled area, east Lebanon, injuring a woman and her two daughters, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported.

Another shell hit a car on the Menjez-Abboudieh Highway, setting it on fire; no reports were available on whether any passengers were inside the vehicle.

A truck driver sustained a bullet injury in firing from the Syrian side of the borders which reached Akkar district, north Lebanon, yesterday.
