KR Group continues support to Oman Association for the Disabled

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Khimji Ramdas Group continues to spread the Ramadan spirit of sharing through a series of community initiatives.

Recently, the group donated 600 packages of essential food items to families of the Oman Association for the Disabled, following up on similar donation drives made to the association in the previous years. 'On behalf of the KR Group, I would like to extend my warmest Ramadan greetings to the Oman Association for the Disabled, our staff and the people of Oman.

As a socially responsible corporate citizen, we are committed to building better societies and more self-sustaining communities. These Ramadan boxes are a small gesture on our part to include all members of society in celebration and sharing during the Holy month of Ramadan,' Anil Khimji, director, Khimji Ramdas.

Recognising the efforts of the Oman Association for the Disabled and other NGOs to improve the lives of its members, he added, 'Oman is fortunate to have such organisations to take up the cause of the needy and under privileged members of society; they work tirelessly towards providing aid and creating equal opportunities for people and communities that are in need.' The Ramadan boxes that were distributed contained everyday nutritional staples such as rice, cooking oil, canned fruits, juices and tea.<
