'Direct Aid' provides more than 36,000 Iftar meals in Sudan


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Direct Aid Society announced Saturday that more than 36,000 Iftar meals were distributed to needy people in a number of Sudanese states.

The meals provided were dry food materials, needed supplies for Ramadan, as well as Iftar meals and Iftar banquets, official in charge in Sudan's office Alman Sedati told KUNA.

The project targeted several areas in Sudan, Islamic centers, poor families, displaced people, orphans and people with special needs.
