China's Hainan Airlines to purchase 50 Boeing planes


(MENAFN) China's Hainan Airlines is finalizing a deal to purchase 50 Boeing 737 MAX8 airplanes worth over USD5.1 billion, Xinhua reported.

The Haikou-based airlines said that the commitment will be officially logged after the world's second largest economy's government approves it.

"The Boeing 737 MAX will help our company grow more efficiently and offer our passengers five-star service," vice chairman and president of Hainan Airlines said.
