Intel shares up 7 percent in Q2

(MENAFN) Shares of Intel Corp boosted to a decade-record by 7 percent due to higher demand from companies looking to replace old PCs, according to Arab News.

The company said that at least 19 brokerages increased their price targets on the stock to USD29-USD45, while two brokerages raised their ratings to an equivalent of "buy."

Chief Financial Officer Stacy Smith said PC sales had stabilized, easing fears about the four-year decline in computer sales as consumers turn increasingly to tablets and smartphones.
