(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Oul July 16 (QNA) - Portuguese President Anibal Cavaco Silva will make an official visit to South Korea at the invitation of South Korea's President Park Geun-hye from this Saturday to Monday.
The trip will mark the first official visit to Seoul by a Portuguese head of state according to Korea's (KBS WORLD) website.
President Silva will hold summit talks with President Park on Monday and discuss expanding the two countries' cooperation in areas of trade investment and renewable energy.
The presidential office in Seoul said the two leaders will also discuss regional affairs on the Korean Peninsula Northeast Asia and Europe.
The top office expects President Silva's visit to be an opportunity to build trust and bonds between the two leaders and expand bilateral trade on mutually beneficial terms. (QNA)
