China's economy grows 7.4 percent in H1


(MENAFN) According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China's economy grew 7.4 percent during the January-June period of 2014 over a year earlier, Xinhua reported.

In the second quarter of 2014, economic growth stood at 7.5 percent, picking up from the first quarter's expansion which stood at 7.4 percent, NBS figures showed.

"The Chinese economy showed good momentum of stable and moderate growth in the first half," said NBS spokesman at a press conference.
