Qatari, Turkish leaders discuss Israeli aggression on Gaza


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in Ankara Tuesday and held talks with Turkish leaders on hostilities in the Middle East, Ihlas news agency reported.

It said Sheikh Tamim held talks with President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on regional developments, particularly the Israeli aggression on Gaza that killed nearly 200 people and injured over 1,400 others.

The two sides also discussed the unrest in Syria and Iraq specially after the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) controlled many areas in the two countries.

The Qatari and Turkish leaders talked about ways of further cementing bilateral relations.
