Tokyo Stocks Rise on Tuesday Morning
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kyo July 15 (QNA) - Tokyo stocks rose Tuesday morning as investor sentiment was brightened by overnight gains on Wall Street.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 119.84 points or 0.78% from Monday to 15416.66 according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 8.92 points or 0.70% at 1274.38.
A wide range of stocks attracted buying from the opening bell after US stocks rose in New York overnight with the Dow Jones Industrial Average hitting a record intraday high. (QNA)
