Embraer granted USD2.4 billion deal for 50 jets


(MENAFN) Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer announced that it won a USD2.4 billion worth order for 50 regional jets from US airline-owner Trans States Holdings, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

The agreement includes options for an additional 50 aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in June 2020, said a statement issued during the Farnborough airshow near London.

"Embraer... has received an order for 50 E175-E2 jets from Trans States Holdings, parent company of Trans States Airlines, Compass Airlines and GoJet Airlines," said the statement.
