British Foreign Secretary resigns


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) British Foreign Secretary William Hague announced his resignation Monday as foreign secretary from the British coalition government headed by Prime Minister David Cameron.

In a brief statement, Hague said he "would not stand in the May 2015 general election in order to embark on many other things I have always wanted to do." Cameron is expected to make a wide government reshuffle in the upcoming days.
