Tokyo Stocks Snap 5Day Losing Streak on Bargain Hunting


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kyo July 14 (QNA) - Tokyo stocks rebounded Monday helped by bargain-hunting following the market's five-day losing streak.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended up 132.78 points or 0.88% from Friday at 15296.82 according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 10.27 points or 0.82% higher at 1265.46.

Major gainers included utility rubber products and precision machinery shares. (QNA)
