(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Thirteen more Palestinian civilians were killed and dozens others wounded on Saturday as the Israeli air strikes and indiscriminate artillery bombardment on Gaza Strip continued unabated for the sixth day.
Khawlah Al-Hawajeri, a 24-year old lady, was killed in a bombardment on her home in Al-Nusairat refugee camp this evening, according to Palestinian medical sources.
Two youths Ahmad Dallol and Mohammad Al-Sharateha were killed in similar bombardments on Al-Zaitoun district in Gaza City and Beit Lahya town to the north of Gaza Strip respectively.
An Israeli air strike on Al-Nazzaz St. in Al-Shuja'iya district, east Gaza City, killed Ghazi Arif.
Eight civilians were killed and ten others were injured in a drone attack on Sheikh Radwan district, north the city, this afternoon; all victims were rushed to Al-Shifaa Hospital.
They were identified as Azmi Obaid, 51; Rateb Al-Saifi, 22; Ghassan Al-Masri, 25; Nedhal Al-Malsh, 21; Mustafa Enaya, 60; Suleiman Obaid, 58; Mustafa Amer, 29; and Mohammad Salem, 29.
The new victims took the total number of the Palestinian casualties in the last six days to 134 dead and more than 940 wounded.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza responded by firing two more volleys of rockets at multiple locations in Israel this evening; some of them reached as far as in Tel Aviv where the Iron Dome intercepted two rockets.
Alert sirens were sounded in several Israeli cities; inter alia, Tel Aviv, Netivot, Rishon Lezion, Ashdod, Sderot, Be'er Sheva, Merhavim, Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, Herzliya, Rehovot, Yavne, Nes Tziona, Lod, Ramle, Kiryat Malachi and Ashkelon, as well as occupied Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh and the Dead Sea area, according to Israeli military sources.
At least five Jewish settlers were injured when a rocket exploded in Netivot, Israel Radio reported, citing the sources.
Two rockets hit near the southern Israeli city of Dimona in an apparent attempt by Hamas movement, ruling in Gaza, to destroy a nuclear reactor located there.
Ezz-Eddin Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the movement, vowed to deal "a historic blow" to Israel.
The group said in a brief statement it will fire for the first time the locally-manufactured J-80 rockets into Israel at 9:00 pm Saturday. The rocket is apparently named after martyr Ahmad Al-Jaabari, a Hamas leader who was killed in an Israeli drone attack two years ago.
It asked the Israeli and Palestinian mass media to focus their cameras on Tel Aviv to follow up what will happen.
