(MENAFN) Data showed that South Korea's exports of used cars fell sharply in May on-year, as the strong won again the US dollar weighed down on price competitiveness, QNA reported.
According to data released by the Korea International Trade Association, shipments of local used cars totaled 103,928 units in the first quarter of 2014, down 18.4 percent or 127,355 units which was posted last year.
Last year, Libya was the largest buyer of South Korean used cars at 88,000 units, followed by Jordan, Russia and Mongolia with 63,000, 16,000 and 15,000 units, respectively.
