Qatar- Toyota Avanza redefines compact MPV segment


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The launch of the Toyota Avanza in the Middle East marks the entry of a supremely practical vehicle set to redefine the compact MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) segment € highlighting Toyota's philosophy in introducing vehicles that not only feature a host of innovative and enhanced features, the company said in a statement.

According to Hiroki Nakajima, Chief Engineer, Toyota Motor Corporation, "While Avanza's design speaks volumes about the vehicle's emphasis on enlarged space for both passengers and luggage, the strong body lends the vehicle its exceptional drivability and maneuverability attributes which facilitate a comfortable ride."

Speaking on the occasion of the Avanza's launch, Nobuyuki Negishi, Chief Representative of Middle East & North Africa Representative Office, Toyota Motor, said, "The 7-seater Avanza provides comfortable seating for large families and offers ample luggage space even when the third-row seats are in use."

At 4,140 mm long, 1,660 mm wide and 1,695 mm high, the Avanza's external dimensions lead into an interior that is comfortably spacious for all the passengers with ample room for luggage and third-row seating. Avanza is powered by a 1.5 L engine that can churn out a maximum output of 102 HP and a maximum torque of 139/4400 Nm/rpm.
