Saudi- Asir records 12 road accidents in three hours
(MENAFN- Arab News) Asir Province witnessed 12 traffic accidents in just three hours according to Ahmed Ibrahim Asiri spokesman of the Saudi Red Crescent in Asir.
'The operation room of the Saudi Crescent received 12 reports of traffic accidents from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m." Asiri said.
The first accident took place at six o'clock between a Jeep Patrol with a family on board a Datsun car near the Al-Sarie intersection resulting in the death of a female passenger on the spot. Another woman later died in hospital. Six people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
Another accident on Abha-Khamis Mushayt road opposite Alhamra Palace resulted in two causalities.
An accident on AbhaMohayil road resulted in three casualties with one of them suffering critical injuries. A fourth accident on the MohayilJeddah road near Al-Fahmah also resulted in three casualties.
The spokesman added that a fifth accident took place on the Bisha-Sabt Al-Allayah road near the Saudi Electricity Company. The accident occurred between a Hilux truck and a fuel truck. All four Hilux passengers were killed.
