Chinese Courts Jail 32 in Xinjiang


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ijing July 12 (QNA) - Courts in China's Xinjiang region have jailed 32 people on charges of spreading extremist content online and organising terror groups.



Three were sentenced to life in prison and the remaining 29 were sentenced to between four and 15 years in prison Chinese (Xinhua) news agency reported.

Chinese officials have blamed militant Uighur groups for a growing number of violent attacks across the country.
