Government of Poland Survives Noconfidence Vote


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Rsaw July 11 (QNA) - Coalition government in Poland has survived for the second time in two weeks a no-confidence vote called by opposition leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski against the backdrop of leakage of recordings of conversations between senior officials.



Media sources said today that 236 MPs voted in favor of the renewal of confidence in the government while 155 deputies voted in favor of the withdrawal of confidence.

The Kaczynski has called on parliament to isolate the government saying it is not appropriate to rule a big European country such as Poland accusing it of enter the country into political economic and social crises.



This comes less than two weeks after the last vote of no confidence called by Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the grounds that without the support of the majority he will not be able to effectively represent Poland in the European Union.(QNA) .
