Europe's industrial sector slows in May


(MENAFN) Industrial production across Europe saw a drop in May, sparking fears that the region's fragile economic recovery may have already peaked, according to Gulf Daily News.

France, Italy and the Netherlands all reported poor data yesterday, joining Germany and Britain which reported shrinking output earlier this week.

French industrial production dropped by 1.7 percent in May after a slight growth in April, while Italy's slowed by 1.2 percnt - its biggest fall since November 2012.
