(MENAFN - Arab News) Another perfect 28 was scored by American Garden albeit against the bye team on its way to the Team of the Week award during the second session in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 3 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

American Garden reached the maximum possible score by adding its automatic 20 match points and rank points of 8 it achieved after rolling the highest total pinfalls with handicap of 265.

Also American Garden grabbed the lead from Velocity Strikers who could only muster 14 points following their opening week 28 in a 12-8 defeat at the hands of D' RJ's Cardinals on total pinfals of 25550-2531.

Taurus was the second-best point getter on the day with 21 points thanks to its 16-4 triumph over The Pinbusters on total pinfalls of 2432-2411 in a match that saw Taurus' Fedelyn Bustinera clinched the ladies Bowler of the Week plum on 524.

In the other match D' Luf's Strikers drew with Cyclone 10-10 (2329-2295) in the young tournament sponsored by Star Markets.

Ed Cordova of Cardinals was the men's Bowler of the Week after he rolled the high series of 563 on lines of 214 181 and 168.

Cordova's score supplanted the previous high series scratch record of 562 posted by Toto Lim on the first week.

The second week also saw the husband-and-wife team of Khalid and Fedelyn Bustinera set new records. Khalid carded 253 265 and 195 to replace the old marks of Richard Junio 208 and 220 and Lim 187 for high game scratch high game with handicap and high average while Fedelyn bettered Carmen Lim's 422 and Fatima Jintarat's 159 with 452 and 176 for high series scratch and high game scratch.

Shirley Sagmit and Archie Alcantara shot 510 and 502 to be at the helm of American Garden that also netted 163-115 from Christine Stone and 120 from Anna de Guzman.

In addition to Fedelyn the others who scored at Taurus were Ric Nangel 499 Jun Caisip 437 Khalid 425 and Gil Cabral 405.

Alongside Cordova RJ's had Junio on 501 Kristhea Mae Busico on 470 and Yeth Sichan Achai on 467.

Leading D' Luf' was team captain Danny Atubang on 490. He was supported by Cromwell Marzo 458 Sol Cuenca 435 Danny Francisco 153-148 and Cesar Pagtalunan 150.
