(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Iro July 10 (QNA) - Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby on Thursday met new U.S. special envoy for Syria Daniel Rubinstein with talks touching on the latest regional developments particularly in Syria and the deteriorating conditions of Syrian refugees an Arab League press release said.
Rubinstein was appointed in March following the retirement of Robert Ford who served abroad for 30 years. The new envoy has previously worked in several embassies in the region including Cairo Damascus Amman Baghdad Tunis and Jerusalem. (QNA)
