(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait has an impressive track record of extending humanitarian relief aid to many countries around the world including Sudan, said the Sudanese ambassador to Kuwait Yahya Mahmoud, in a press statement after meeting with board chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer.
The ambassador thanked the KRCS for its tremendous help during the recent floods which devastated many parts of Sudan, causing an acutely serious humanitarian crisis.
Dr. Al-Sayer said in a similar statement that the KRCS was ready to cooperate actively with relief aid organizations in Sudan to alleviate the burden on those recently affected by the torrential rains and massive floods.
