(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani discussed on Wednesday in a telephone conversation with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon the recent Israeli escalation in occupied Palestinian territories.
During the conversation, initiated by Ban, the Amir voiced concerns regarding violations that the Palestinian people have been subjected to in light of Israel's military offensives against civilians, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
"He called on the international community to move in order to stop the aggression against the Palestinian people and the siege clamped on Gaza Strip," the according to the report.
