(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Bank Nizwa , Oman's leading Islamic bank is keen to enrich the lives of people in the communities in which it operates and has established a volunteer committee to encourage staff volunteerism.
Launched at the start of the holy month of Ramadan, this committee of volunteer employees from Bank Nizwa, are utilising their skills to make a significant, positive difference in the lives of others. As part of its Ramadan campaign the committee will be organising iftar meals at ten of the sultanate's mosques to ensure that those less fortunate can come together and celebrate the breaking of their fast in good company with nourishing food.
Speaking about the committee, Dr Ashraf al Nabhani general manager of corporate support at Bank Nizwa, said, ''Bank Nizwa is a people centered bank and our employees are all committed to giving back to the needy in the communities in which we live and work. We take pride in the trust and camaraderie of our team as it works to build a sense of community and towards a common goal. It is important to us, especially during the holy month of Ramadan to enrich our lives and the lives of others.''
