BMW sells more than a million vehicles in H1


(MENAFN) BMW, the German automaker, said it sold more than one million vehicles in the first six months of the year, marking a new sales record in the company's history, Xinhua reported.

According to the announcement, the Munich -based group delivered a total of 1,020,211 vehicles to customers worldwide, more than ever before in the first six months of a year, increasing 6.9 percent on-year.

In June alone, sales of the group reached an all-time high of 193,342 vehicles, an increase of 4.8 percent compared to sales in June 2013.

"This is the first time we have sold more than a million cars in the first half of the year. It underscores the strength of our premium brands within the BMW Group," member of the BMW AG board said.
