(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kyo July 08 (QNA) - Tokyo stocks fell slightly Tuesday as investors' risk appetite was hurt by poor performances in major European and US bourses overnight.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 65.03 points or 0.42% from Monday at 15314.41 according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 4.17 points or 0.33% lower at 1275.70.
The Tokyo market got off to a weak start in the wake of Monday's declines in US and major European stock markets including Germany and France. (QNA)
