Saudi Jarir profit up 7.1 percent in Q2


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's Jarir Marketing saw 7.1 percent growth in its profit in the second three months of the current year after the significant growth in sales, according to Arabian Business.

Jarir's net profit was estimated at USD36.1 million in the second quarter compared to USD33.64 million in the same period last year.

The company said the rise resulted from higher sales in all segments apart from computers. It operated 35 stores in the second quarter, compared to 32 a year ago.
