(MENAFN - The Peninsula) With Michael Laudrup and Ivan Hasek set to start stint with the Qatar Stars League (QSL), three more new coaches will be seen in action in the coveted event.

Brazilian Paqueta will head back to his old Club Al Gharafa, Spaniard Miguel ngel Lotina has come to secure QSL survival for newly promoted Al Shahaniya and Romanian and Chelsea favourite Dan Petrescu has taken over at Al Arabi.

Every coach has their own philosophy and will try to stamp their own mark on their teams next season.

It may be recalled that Laudrup has taken over last season's Champs Lekhwiya, Hasek will be at the helm for Qatar Sports Club.

The spotlight will surely fall on Laudrup because his predecessor Eric Gerets won the league with two rounds to spare last season and is a hard act to follow.Nevertheless the Dane will have to go one better and try to win the Asian Champions League to make sure he secures his future at a Club with big ambitions.

On the other hand, Hasek will try to resurrect Qatar Sports Club's fortunes, a club that has been in the doldrums for a number of years.

For more than ten years Al Arabi has not been amongst the medals and Romanian head coach Petrescu will look for a change.

However a lot depends on which foreign players he brings in to the Club.

Paqueta, the former head coach of Al Gharafa has the experience of winning in the QSL before and many are talking about a possible resurgence of the Cheetahs next season.

The Brazilian has a lot of expectations resting on his shoulders nonetheless summer acquisitions will be the deciding factor to Al Gharafa's chances of tasting glory.

Another new head coach of the QSL scene is the Spaniard Miguel ngel Lotina; he will try to secure QSL survival which should be the main aim of the.

Meanwhile, new acquisition Murad Naji was signed from El Jaish on loan and is happy with his new surroundings.

He said that he has confidence in the management of Umm Salal and stressed that he would give all his energies in the new season.

He told QSL Online that he thinks the atmosphere at the Club is good and that he made the right move, "I feel very good to be here at Umm Salal, everyone's spirits are very high and the players are optimistic about what lies ahead of us. The team has made me feel very welcome, I don't feel like a stranger."

He added, "I hope we can do even better next season and get into the top four. We will need a good team spirit to achieve this and from what I see I think we are capable of making our dreams come true."

Naji can become a key player for Umm Salal next season, he made a series of solid performances with the Army in the last campaign and the right back should help in strengthening Salal's sometimes leaky defense.
