Tokyo Stocks Lower after Recent Gains


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kyo July 07 (QNA) - Tokyo stocks fell slightly Monday on selling to lock in recent gains amid a dearth of fresh buying incentives according to Nikkei Asian Review.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 57.69 points or 0.37% from Friday at 15379.44. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 5.37 points or 0.42% lower at 1279.87.

Major decliners included oil and coal products trading companies as well as pulp and paper. (QNA)
