Senegal's President Appoints Mohammed Dionne as Prime Minister


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kar July 07 (QNA) - Senegal's President Macky Sall on Sunday appointed Mohammed Dionne as Prime Minister following the sacking of Aminata Toure.

Senegalese official television reported that Dionne appointment came after Aminata Toure failed to win a seat in a June 29 local election.

Mohammed Dionne was a minister in charge of the implementation of Senegal's $7.98 billion development plan in the previous government and previously worked at the Central Bank of West African States and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation. (QNA)
