(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ha July 07 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud met Monday with Mark Simmonds minister for Africa and international energy at the U.K. Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the delegation accompanying him.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between Qatar and the United Kingdom and means of enhancing and developing them as well as the latest developments in Darfur and the implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur.
The British official stressed his country's support for the peace process and efforts for reconstruction and development in the region.
U.K. Ambassador to Doha Nicholas Hopton attended the meeting along with a group of Qatari cabinet officials. (QNA)
