South Korea, US to commence light aircraft export

(MENAFN) South Korea is holding meetings and discussions with the United States about exporting its light aircraft, QNA reported.

The meetings will start from Monday to Friday at the sejong government complex and will address enhancing exports of South Korean aircraft products, currently limited to components, to light aircraft, South Korean (KBS World) reported.

The two nations have already agreed to boost application of their bilateral aviation safety agreement to light aircraft.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport says exports of four- seater and two-seater planes will be possible when the aircraft safety agreement is revised by the end of this year.
