(MENAFN - Arab News) Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has won the qualification certificate from the Municipal and Rural Affairs Ministry to manage operate and maintain fuel service stations along Saudi highways and roads. This is considered to be a significant milestone that will drive the geographic expansion of the company.

ENOC is one of only three companies in the Kingdom to win the qualification certification which followed a detailed study by the ministry to enhance the quality and service standards of service stations in the Kingdom.

Saeed Khoory CEO of ENOC said: 'We are thankful to the Municipal and Rural Affairs Ministry for the qualification certification to open service stations in the Kingdom. We are committed to deliver on the ministry's goals to provide the highest quality service standards as well as invest in new stations that offer the full breadth of services. This is a true milestone in our geographic expansion to #SaudiArabia one of the fastest growing economies in the region."


Burhan Al-Hashemi MD of ENOC Retail said: 'ENOC's significant differential is the high standards we have set in fuel retailing and convenience stores that operate as part of the service station. This has enabled us to win the qualification certification and we are committed to deliver on the objectives outlined by the ministry."
