(MENAFN - Arab News) Al Salem Johnson Controls a joint venture between the Al Salem Group of Companies and Johnson Controls a global multi industrial company met with more than 600 customers in Makkah Madinah Riyadh Jeddah and Alkhobar to showcase the latest building technologies and innovations that address electrical consumption noise level and amount and type of refrigerant consumed.

The workshops included the introduction about the YORK YVAA air-cooled variable-speed screw chiller. The innovative design of this new chiller with energy-saving variable-speed technology helps cut energy costs and carbon emissions by as much as 25 percent.

Al Salem Johnson Controls is described as a global market leader for more than 30 years in variable speed drive (VSD) chillers and claims to supply more VSDs than any other manufacturer.

Basil Abdulaziz Al Salem Johnson Controls' CEO for Saudi Arabia and Lebanon said: 'Our Company holds a prominent place in the HVAC industry both locally and internationally and we are committed to exceeding our customers' expectations by offering the highest quality of HVAC technologies to the Saudi market."

Anwar Hassan VP field sales and operations at Al Salem Johnson Controls stated: 'The company is unique in offering to the Saudi market the state-of-the-art YORK YVAA air-cooled variable speed screw chiller which is considered one of the best of the new types of HVAC equipment worldwide and the most efficient in energy consumption using micro channel technology in condenser coils.

Ziad Abu Quta branch manager of Al Salem Johnson Controls commented: 'We commissioned the first VSD screw chiller in the Saudi market in 2004. With more than 10 years of successful operation of this advanced technology we are highly experienced in this field.
