An F-16 jet fired a rocket at an area close to a training ground for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, causing no casualties, claimed some eyewitnesses
These witnesses added that another Israeli jet raided an area near the town of Al-Qarara, again not causing any casualties. A third attack targeted with one rocket an area close to a chicken farm in the town of Bani Suhaila, not resulting in any casualties, said the witnesses
A spokesperson for the Israeli army told Israel Radio these attacks were in retaliation for continuous launching of rockets from Gaza into southern Israel
