Qatar- Road show to focus on benefits of Seha

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) National Health Insurance Company (NHIC)is launching a nationwide road show to increase awareness about Seha - the national health insurance scheme - to ensure Qataris everywhere are familiar with its benefits

Targeted at areas outside the City, the road show aims at giving people an opportunity to interact with Seha teams and learn more about how to access healthcare services under the scheme.

An information booth has been set up at Al Meera Supermarket in Gharafat Al Rayan until July 8 and more will be set up at its outlet in Azghwaya (July 9-11); Legtaifiya (July 12-14); and Abu Nakhla (July 15-17)

The booths will be operational from 7pm to 1am to tie in with the Holy Month of Ramadan.

"As a national initiative, it is important for Seha to reach out to all Qataris wherever they live and ensure the public not only knows about the scheme but also how to use it," said Dr Faleh Mohamed Hussain Ali, Acting CEO, NHIC

"Whether a person is active on social media or someone who prefers to read newspapers, or they are in Doha or Dukhan, our duty is to reach people of all ages, all backgrounds and all localities across the country.

"We have deployed a range of communications channels to achieve this and the road show allows people in towns to find out all information about Seha they need.

Qataris can also access information and updates on the scheme and the Seha provider network at www.seha.qa and through social media at facebook.com/SehaQatar and twitter.com/SehaQatar.

Members can also contact the Seha call centre on 4020 8444 or visit the customer contact centre on the sixth floor of Amwal Tower in West Bay, Doha
