(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Artoum july 03 (qna) - sudanese first vice president bakri hassan salih met today with italian deputy foreign minister and his accompanying delegation who are currently on a visit to khartoum.
during the meeting they discussed ways to develop and strengthen relations between sudan and italy especially in the fields of economy and increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.
the meeting also dealt with the role that could be played by sudan to promote peace and stability in the region as well as its role in addressing illegal immigration in cooperation with the european union.(qna)
