British house prices up 1 percent in June


(MENAFN) According to Nationwide Building Society, British house prices rose by 1 percent in June, 11.9 percent higher when compared to June 2013, Xinhua reported



British average house price was USD323,000 in June, recording the 14th consecutive month of increase and marking a new high since 2007, the British mortgage provider said



Data showed that London's property prices increased by approximately 26 percent during the April-June period over the same period of last year



"The annual pace of growth in the capital will probably start to slow in the quarters ahead, given the high base for comparison from Q3 2013 onwards," chief economist at Nationwide said
