The storm is expected to morph into a category 1 hurricane in the coming 48 hours and hit south of the coast of North Carolina with wind speeds of 75 mph
The Embassy urged the Kuwaitis to remain vigilant and adopt the necessary safety precautions issued by the US authorities
It advised all nationals, particularly the students studying in the East Coast states, to keep in contact with the Embassy and the Cultural Office in Washington, and report on any eventuality via the phone numbers: +1 202 2620758 and +1 202 3642104
