UAE's Waha Capital to invest USD54m in healthcare sector


(MENAFN) Investment firm Waha Capital plans to pump USD54.89 million in the country's healthcare sector in the coming 3-5 years, according to the Emirates 24/7



The company expects this year to be a record year after posting 78 percent rise in profits in the first quarter, reaching USD41.72 million



A statement by the Abu Dhabi bourse said: "As an investment company, it is constantly considering investment proposals in its previously announced focus sectors, including education and energy.



Waha Capital's profits from the sale of its stake in AerLift Leasing were recognised in the first quarter 2014 but proceeds were not received until the second quarter 2014
