Jordan King urges inclusive political process in Iraq

The Jordanian king made the remark during a meeting with a visiting Japanese parliamentary delegation led by Member of Parliament Ichiro Aisawa, according to a royal statemen



He reiterated Jordan's support to efforts that aim at preserving Iraq's unity and stability and called for solving the current crisis through a political process with the participation of all components of the Iraqi society, it sai



He pointed to the dangerous repercussions of the Syrian crisis on neighboring countries and the region as a whole, as well as to the pressure being borne by Jordan's infrastructure as a result of hosting more than 1.3 million Syrian refugee



He urged the international community to continue its support to the Kingdom and thanked Japan for helping Jordan to provide humanitarian and relief services to the Syrian refugees
