OAB to finance Oman Cement's new No 5 mill


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman Arab Bank (OAB) recently signed new banking facilities for Oman Cement Co's (OCC) new cement mill No 5.

The facilities will include a term loan and letters of credit. The agreement was signed between Jamal bin Shamis al Hooti, chief executive officer of OCC, and Amin al Husseini, chief executive officer of OAB. OAB, as one of the leading banks in the sultanate, has participated in the financing of several industrial and development projects across various sectors in the sultanate.

Husseini praised the contribution of OCC to development projects in the sultanate, and keenness to keep pace with market requirements of different types of cement. Announcement of these facilities was carried out through the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
